Write two sentences summarizing what the article is about.
Write two sentences that discuss specific examples, from the article, that prove your leader was an effective leader.

This article provided a lot of background information about Martin Luther King Jr. In addition to discussing his life and his education, it gave a chronology of the activist events he was involved in. Specifically it talked about how he led marches and influenced laws regarding civil rights and legislation.This was beneficial because it provided evidence of his leadership ability. This article comes from an educational/university web site. University web sites are generally deemed credible because of the academic standards of the institutions. Furthermore, the author, Sandra DeLaney is a history professor at University of California, Berkley and has written several books on the topic.
