Read & Write- Students had the remainder of the period to continue recording facts and sources in their journal. Students were provided with a packet of articles that provided more background information and pros and cons about Christopher Columbus. (See yesterday's post for requirements of t-chart and source list.) Students were allowed to share resources, evidence, and findings from last period and today's packet. Students were encouraged to discuss the pros and cons and consider counterarguments.
