- Each group was given an article or manuscript about Robin Hood
- They began by silently reading the article on their own. Then they had to discuss it as a group and summarize their findings in five sentences. (one paper, one grade)
- Each group shared their findings and together, the class drew some conclusions based on common elements from each group
