Sept. 16th & 19th
- Students were given the rubrics (attached below) for both the written and the oral speech
- I reviewed how to turn the outline into a five paragraph essay.
- Students were given the rest of the period to begin their speech.
Sept. 20th & 21st
- Rhetorical Device
Students were directed to add a rhetorical device to their speech. They had to choose a device from the handout below.
- Students had the remainder of the period to finish their first draft and submit it to me via Googledocs or email.
- Students were reminded that next class period they would be presenting their Pet Peeve Sermon at the podium or they could record it ahead of time and post it on the Pet Peeve Padlet in my course in itslearning.
