- Model it after that section of the Declaration (pg. 141-142 in your textbook) - Students will begin this section with the following phrase: We hold these truths to be self evident... (finish with relevant statements about your class topic)
- borrow some phrasing from the Declaration and apply it to your topic

List of Complaints (see rubric for the number of complaints to complete)
- Model after that section of the Declaration (begins on pg. 143)
(notice that the majority of the complaints in the textbook begin with the same word)
- Use the list of complaints your class compiled (choose 10 from that list)
