Students will be able to properly develop the body paragraphs of their research papers.
Students will be able to fully develop a rough draft of their research paper at the computer lab.
Bell Ringer:
Gather CDW charts and any sources you need to go down to the lab.
Activity:
We spent the entire class period typing out complete rough drafts of our research papers. They were to be submitted by the end of class in Mrs. Kiester's period 4 folder. Rough drafts were to be in MLA format. We had a quick discussion regarding the requirements of MLA. See this site for the information discussed. I used the image below to model for the students how the paper should look.

Read/Write:
Some did not finish their CDW charts. They were to finish these during the period before beginning on the paper.
Some did finish their entire rough drafts. Those that did were given 4x6 cards to begin making notes for their presentations.
